DIAGNOSIS FIRST. YOUR GOALS ALWAYS.
A treatment plan starts with you.
What has pain taken away from your day? What have you tried? What matters most to your recovery? These questions belong alongside your examination and imaging.
Dr. Jalali helps you understand the available options, their limitations, and their risks, so you can make an informed decision together. Surgery is a consideration—not an automatic next step.
01 / CERVICAL SPINE
Treatment options for the neck.
Procedure selection depends on where compression occurs, spinal alignment and stability, prior treatment, and your individual goals.
Anterior Cervical Discectomy & Fusion (ACDF)
Removal of a problematic disc and associated compression, combined with fusion to stabilize the treated segment.
Cervical Disc Replacement
A motion-preserving alternative to fusion for appropriately selected patients.
Posterior Cervical Foraminotomy
Targeted relief of nerve-root compression from the back of the neck, including selected cases of persistent symptoms after an anterior procedure.
Cervical Laminectomy & Fusion
Decompression of the spinal cord combined with stabilization when both are needed.
Cervical Laminoplasty
Expansion of the spinal canal without a planned fusion in appropriately selected patients.
02 / LUMBAR SPINE
Treatment options for the lower back.
The goal is to match the operation to the diagnosis—not to fit every patient into the same procedure.
Lumbar Microdiscectomy
Targeted removal of herniated disc material that is pressing on a nerve.
Lumbar Laminectomy & Decompression
Creation of more space for nerves affected by spinal narrowing.
Lumbar Fusion
Stabilization for selected conditions. Depending on your anatomy and goals, approaches may include TLIF, ALIF, lateral interbody fusion, or posterior techniques.
03 / THORACIC & COMPLEX SPINE CARE
Individualized care for more complex problems.
Some conditions require a broader assessment of spinal alignment, bone health, prior surgery, and the way different spinal regions work together.
Thoracic Discectomy & Decompression
Surgery for selected cases of disc disease or compression in the mid-back—a less commonly needed procedure.
Adult Spinal Deformity Reconstruction
Individualized surgical planning for selected patients with scoliosis or problems with spinal alignment and balance.
Revision Spine Surgery
An area of expertise focused on understanding persistent or new problems after previous spine surgery and whether further surgery can help.
Kyphoplasty & Vertebral Augmentation
Treatment options for selected painful vertebral compression fractures, considered alongside fracture evaluation and bone-health care.

MINIMALLY INVASIVE SPINE SURGERY
Smaller incisions. Thoughtful care.
Many spine procedures can be performed through smaller incisions, with less disruption to the surrounding muscles and tissues. This includes surgery to relieve pressure on nerves and certain types of spinal fusion.
When appropriate, a minimally invasive approach may help make recovery easier. Dr. Jalali will discuss whether it is an option for your procedure and what you can expect as you return to everyday activities.
04 / NONSURGICAL CARE
Support recovery. Build confidence in movement.
Your plan begins with understanding the source of your symptoms, how they affect your daily life, and what you want to get back to doing.
Physical Therapy & Spine Rehabilitation
An individualized program focused on strength, mobility, movement habits, and a gradual return to meaningful activities.
Medication & Activity Modification
A personalized discussion of symptom management and practical changes that keep your recovery moving forward.
Epidural Steroid Injections & Selective Nerve-Root Blocks
When appropriate, Dr. Jalali coordinates targeted injections with an interventional specialist as part of your overall care.
Facet Injections & Radiofrequency Ablation
Evaluation and coordinated care with interventional specialists for selected patients with facet-related pain.
LESS PAIN. BETTER MOVEMENT. ACTIVE LIFE.
Let’s find your next step.
Discuss your symptoms, understand your options, and build a plan centered on the activities that matter to you.
