The Athletic Spine · Omid Jalali, MD
Effective date: September 25, 2026
This policy explains how information is handled when you use The Athletic Spine website, including its temporary Kinsta address and TheAthleticSpine.com. Dr. Omid Jalali practices at Community Orthopedic Medical Group (COMG). This website provides educational information and links to appointment scheduling.
Information collected through this website
You can browse the educational pages without creating an account. This website does not currently offer a patient account, public comments, document uploads, or a custom appointment-request form. Appointment buttons take you to COMG’s separate scheduling service.
As you browse, the hosting and security infrastructure may process technical information such as your IP address, browser and device information, pages requested, referring page, and access times. This information helps deliver pages, maintain performance, diagnose problems, and protect the website against abuse. The site is built with WordPress and hosted by Kinsta, with Cloudflare services used by the hosting platform.
Appointments and contacting us
Appointment links open COMG’s scheduling page provided through Demandforce. Information you enter there is submitted to that service for the practice’s scheduling process, rather than through a form hosted on this website. Review the privacy notices on the scheduling service and COMG website before submitting information. You may instead call (949) 348-4000.
If you email us, your email address and the information you choose to include are processed through our email service and may be used by Dr. Jalali or appropriate practice staff to respond or route your inquiry. The website email uses Microsoft 365. Please do not send medical records, detailed symptoms, insurance identifiers, or other sensitive health information through ordinary email. Contact the office for an appropriate way to exchange medical information.
Cookies, maps, and educational videos
WordPress and our hosting or security providers may use cookies or similar technologies for essential functionality, security, and authorized administrator sign-in. The site currently has no configured Google Analytics or advertising-pixel plugin. This does not mean that third-party embedded content is free of data collection.
Some pages embed Google Maps or educational videos, including YouTube videos displayed using YouTube’s privacy-enhanced embed domain. Loading a page containing an embed, scrolling it into view, or interacting with it may connect your browser to that provider. Providers may receive technical information such as your IP address, browser details, and referring page, and may use cookies or similar technologies. Your interaction may be associated with an account you have with that provider. Privacy-enhanced video embedding does not make viewing anonymous.
These providers may collect information about activity over time and across other websites according to their own policies. See Google’s Privacy Policy for Google Maps and YouTube. Other linked educational websites have their own privacy practices.
Your choices and online tracking
You can manage or delete cookies and restrict third-party content through your browser settings. Some features may not work when blocked. You can contact the office by phone instead of using online scheduling.
The website does not currently implement a separate response to browser “Do Not Track” signals. Third-party providers control how their services respond to browser privacy signals. A Do Not Track setting alone should not be assumed to prevent their data collection.
Use, access, and retention
Website-related information may be processed by the providers that host, secure, and operate the site and email, and by appropriate practice personnel responding to inquiries. Information may also be disclosed when required by law or to address security incidents. Third-party scheduling, video, and map providers process information under their own policies.
Retention varies by the type of information, the purpose for processing it, provider settings, and applicable obligations. Technical logs, backups, email correspondence, and practice records may have different retention periods. Contact us with a question about information associated with you.
Privacy questions and requests
To ask about this policy or request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information associated with a website inquiry, contact drjalali@theathleticspine.com or call (949) 348-4000. We may need to verify your identity or direct your request to the organization that holds the information. Applicable recordkeeping requirements and other legal exceptions may limit a request.

Medical information and children
This website policy is separate from the practice’s Notice of Privacy Practices for medical information. Contact COMG for that notice or for medical-record requests. Viewing this website or sending an inquiry does not establish a physician–patient relationship. This website is not an emergency service; call 911 for an emergency.
This educational website is intended for adults, including parents and caregivers, and does not provide accounts or submission forms for children under 13. If you believe a child has sent personal information through a website-related email, contact us.
Changes to this policy
Updates will be posted on this page with a revised effective date. Review this policy periodically, particularly when new website features or services are introduced.
